The Plan - what is all this money going to do?

$80 million dollars is a lot of money... However, School construction is expensive. So, just what is the plan with all of that money?

​

  1. Build a new Elementary School on the Sultan Basin (new SES)

  2. Expand and Modernize Gold Bar Elementary

  3. Facelift & refresh for the old Sultan Elementary

  4. Reorganize the grades at each campus (excluding the High School):

    • Grades PK-4  at both Elementary Schools​

    • Grades 5-6 at the old Sultan Elementary (new Sultan Middle School)

    • Grades 7-8 at the existing Sultan Middle School (new Sultan Jr. High)

  5. Demolish the condemned bus barn. 

  6. No changes to Sultan High School​

    • Rep. Carolyn Eslick is working to get the Legislature in this session to fund a 18,500 sq. ft. STEM center that will add space.​
